Planetary Transit Calendar

In Vedic astrology, the planet Ketu is considered a mysterious and mystical entity. Although it is technically a shadow planet, it holds immense importance. Ketu imparts deep and serious thought processes to the individual. Those influenced by Ketu often make significant progress in spiritual and religious domains. According to mythology, during the Samudra Manthan, the demon named Swarbhanu drank the nectar of immortality. However, Lord Vishnu, in his Mohini avatar, used his Sudarshan Chakra to sever Swarbhanu’s head. Since Swarbhanu had already consumed the nectar, he didn’t die. His head became known as Rahu, while his torso came to be known as Ketu. These two — Rahu and Ketu — are also responsible for causing solar and lunar eclipses.
